Programs

Fairfield University's Higher of Arts and Sciences grounds students in the 500-year-old Jesuit tradition of academic rigor and personal reflection, while providing them with the critical skills needed to succeed in work and life. Undergraduate Research

The College of Arts and Sciences empowers and encourages undergraduate students from all disciplines to conduct innovative, in-depth, and collaborative enquiry under the guidance and encouragement of faculty experts. Each year, more than than 300 faculty-student research projects are conducted in the areas of Stalk (science, technology, applied science, and mathematics), the humanities, arts, and social sciences, more than half of which are presented at national scholarly meetings and/or published in professional journals and manuscripts.

Office of Career & Professional person Evolution

The Higher of Arts and Sciences Office of Career and Professional Development offers advising, counseling, programming, and experiential opportunities to help students discover their strengths, explore career paths, and build essential skills needed to succeed in their professional person career. Members of our professional person development team works i-on-one with students to develop resumes and cover letters, search for jobs and internships, prepare for interviews, and more.

Administration & Kinesthesia

At Fairfield, we pride ourselves on the the excellence of our programs and kinesthesia. Faculty members are experts in the field and work diligently to provide a simulation-focused approach to their instruction. Faculty advisors work closely with students to provide academic advice, individualized attending, and career planning. Small classes are a key component to the program, simulating clinical practice to give students a existent-world sense of life in the industry.

Fredrickson Family Innovation Lab

The Fredrickson Family Innovation Lab stands equally a symbolic eye for the Higher of Arts and Sciences, bridging its broad breadth of departments and academic programs. Humanities Plant

Created by an NEH Claiming grant in 1983, the Humanities Constitute in the Higher of Arts & Sciences is an endowed initiative established to ensure that the humanities volition flourish at the eye of a Fairfield Academy education. Since its inception, the endowment has funded hundreds of lectures, events, picture series, workshops, and seminars, equally well as almost of our successful curricular and appointment initiatives. Over the by 30 years, the Humanities Institute has been one of the most significant sources of educational innovation and change at Fairfield Academy.

The Science Institute at Fairfield University is an endowed plan in the Higher of Arts & Sciences that supports activities and programs in the areas of science and mathematics including innovative pedagogy, curriculum evolution, lectures, and seed grants for research, along with projects that promote the tillage of an appreciation for scientific educational activity and inquiry in the University and the community at large.
